This week, my husband upgraded the Roku box at our home, Frustrated with Roku's remote control, I pleasantly discovered its iPhone app,
So I thought about doing a small experiment to record my attachment to my smartphone. Within 24 hours, I recorded all my activities with the iPhone. At what time of the day, which app is used, and what I do with it, and how long I spend on it if applicable.
Once the data is collected, I took advantage of my data analyzing skills, created a series of facts, here they are.
I chose weekend days only, as those days are completely up to myself what I am doing.
Three weekend days are chosen and recored for the entire 24 hours, so I can throw out some outliers. Especially the first 24 hours, I was self-conscious about this experiment, that could have slightly influence me using the mobile phone more than I would have.
